The awards program was launched in January 2010. The nomination process is open to the public, and nominated properties are voted on by an advisory committee composed of community leaders, gardening enthusiasts, and city employees, the city said.
Homes are recognized for exceptional upkeep, improvement, landscaping and general appearance.
Nomination forms can be downloaded here, or by calling the Mayor’s Office at 203-576-7201. You can now also nominate properties for Mayor's Beautification Awards on your smartphone, using the City's BConnected app or using BConnected on the City's website.
